The Cilento National Park

The peculiarities of the coast and of the whole territory of the Cilento have favoured the formation of caves. In fact, the beauty of the The Cilento National Park and Vallo di Diano is due to the different morphology of its territory that has produced”lunar” landscapes where the soil is barren, and  which then becomes rich in Mediterranean vegetation, woods, beech forests and lavender fields.

With its fast running streams and rivers, the Park allows one to go on highly recommendable naturalist excursions, as well as going rafting or watching predatory birds flying and diving in search of prey.

Taking the B & B Domus Sirenae as your starting point you can climb gently from sea level to hills which are covered in olive trees and, if you love mountains, up to the rocky areas in the deep heart of the Cilento Park.
